Camden County College’s Urban Unity club and staff will be hosting its free annual Job Fair for students from 10am to 1pm on the College Hall Community room on Wednesday, March 10.

With the level of unemployment at 6.4 according to the Labor Department, finding a job may be difficult for people including college students. The trouble of applying for a job and landing a job interview can only bring stress to our busy lives. With all the costs of attending college such as classes, books and gas, finding a job quickly is the best way to get a relief. Attending the Job Fair at CCC can be a great way for students to meet face to face with representatives of these companies without the long wait. Students have the opportunity to bring in their resumes and ask multiple questions.

CCC provides students with the opportunity to meet prospective employers from all different work atmospheres all under one roof. Students benefit from interviews on the spot from different employers which makes finding a job much easier. Employers such as the Boys and Girls Club in Camden County, Comcast Cable, Commerce Bank, and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center are only a few of the employers who have been present in the past. This year employers such as True Green, the Aquarium and Health Care, and the Secret Service will be present for this years Job Fair event.
