On Saturday May 22, graduating CCC students will attend there anticipated Commencement Ceremony in the Truman Courtyard on the Blackwood Campus at 10 a.m.

To graduate a student must have completed program requirements for January, June and August of 2010. Students must have filled out a graduation packet and approved by the dean on the specific deadline. Also, a minimum G.P.A of 2.0 must have been earned. All balances must have been paid and also returned library books by the specific deadlines.

Students who have completed these requisites are ready to graduate and encouraged to participate in the ceremony and bring family and friends to come together and celebrate. For those students who can not attend the ceremony they can watch the ceremony on webcast right on the Camden County website http://www.camdencc.edu at 10 a.m. In order to do so viewers must have windows media player installed but the ceremony will be archived for a future viewing. In addition a DVD will be available for a $25 donation to the graduating class of 2010 once you preorder it.

Students must wear there cap and gowns that is provided free of cost, courtesy of the Office of Student Life and activities. Students could have obtained there caps and gowns three ways. Students could have obtained there caps and gowns at the spring fling that was held on April 21 and in Camden on April 28 in Blackwood. After the spring fling students could have purchased there regalia at the Blackwood bookstore or could have filled out a form to deliver the regalia at the Camden City Campus or Rohrer Center bookstores. When receiving the regalia students are not permitted to decorate there caps only those who are in honor societies and are approved to do so by there honor society.

At the ceremony students will receive diploma sleeves instead of diplomas. Students will receive a postcard in the mail notifying them when to pick up there diplomas at the Records and Registration office sometime on or about August 16, 2010.
