CAMDEN – On May 3, the Emmy Award-winning HBO movie “Temple Grandin” will be screened at the Camden campus of Camden County College.

The movie stars award-winning actors Claire Danes, Julia Ormond and David Strathairn. It’s the true story of the struggles a girl went through growing up autistic and teaches viewers being different isn’t always a bad thing.

The film will be shown from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the conference center on the Camden campus. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Jennifer Hoheisel, a professor at Camden County College.

Hoheisel has been a teacher at Camden County College for 20 years. She is the mother of an autistic child, is on the Board of Parents of Autistic Children (PACT) and has made many presentations on autism.
