Camden County College Head Baseball Coach, Kenny Bouillon, has the background of a person who lives and loves the game.

Bouillon, a Vineland native, graduated from Gloucester County College in 1993. During his time at GCC, he played on the baseball team, winning a national championship.

From there, he was accepted into University of South Carolina Aiken on a baseball scholarship.

Upon graduation at USC-Aiken, Bouillon played a year of professional baseball on the Frontier League team the Johnstown Johnnie’s in Johnstown, PA. Bouillon played in the Frontier League for a year until a torn ligament in his knee prevented him from playing any longer.

As an avid baseball lover, Bouillon knew he wanted to continue his involvement by way of coaching.

He moved back to New Jersey and accepted a position as baseball varsity coach for St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland.

During his tenure as varsity coach, Bouillon helped the team reach the South Jersey finals four times and with each year, exceeding the previous year’s team standing.

In 2001, Bouillon decided it was time for a change to move onto a different position. During that year, he began at CCC as assistant coach for the baseball team.

He moved into the head coach’s position between 2004 and 2005.

During his time as head coach, he finished runner-up twice in the Junior College Region 19 tournament.

Bouillon continues to remain the head coach of the baseball team at CCC. He said he is very proud of his hard working team and their accomplishments. The Coach said his goal is take the team to the World Series.
