BLACKWOOD – The Camden County College Cougar defeated Brookdale 5-1 on Wednesday at the CCC baseball field.

The game was set to begin at 2:30 p.m. but didn’t get underway until around 3 p.m. because the umpires were late. More reminiscent of a summer day, the game ensued under an unseasonably warm April sun.

The Cougars set the bar early by scoring first. The energy was high for Cougars fans as they dominated for the majority of the game. Players performed with cool heads even though the conditions felt near tropical. The game lasted almost 2 hours.

The Cougars ended the game winning 5-1. As the game ended the skies opened up with a sudden downpour.
