BLACKWOOD – An evening with John Robison, New York Times best-selling author, will share information on his novel, “Look Me In The Eye.”

At 6:30 to 9 p.m. Nov. 15 in Civic Hall inside the Connector Building, Robison will lecture all about himself and his novels, specifically “Look Me In The Eye.”

Robison is the best-selling author of “Look Me in the Eye” and “Be Different.” He has been a game designer for Milton Bradley, toured with rock band KISS, created a signature Les Paul guitar for Ace Frehley (along with other stage instruments), and operates an elite car restoration company as a highly successful niche entrepreneur. He will be speaking about his journey through life as an individual with Asperger Syndrome.

This event is appropriate for teachers, social workers, school nurses, family and friends of persons with Autism, PDD or Asperger Syndrome and individuals with Asperger Syndrome.

“I can relate to Mr. Robison’s past and am interested in learning more about our disease,” said Alex Herman, 19, who has Asperger’s. “I will definitely be joining Mr. Robison for this wonderful event.”
