BLACKWOOD – The Blackwood campus daycare center is only for children who are ages 2 ½ to 5 and who are potty trained. The daycare requires an approximate payment of $600 at the first of each month. Not only do children learn how to write their name there but they learn French and Spanish too.
The daycare does not allow children to bring in food from home unless it is for a birthday or something that can be shared with everyone.
The price for the daycare isn’t great, said student Jennifer O’Donnell, who sent her son to the daycare. This daycare has a waiting list so new students cannot automatically bring their children to this daycare. It doesn’t accept welfare vouchers or charge according to a parent’s income.
The Blackwood campus daycare does have its perks. The daycare is convenient for students who are parents because it is on campus. The daycare has a personal chef who cooks three meals for the children.
The daycare is open five days a week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
