BLACKWOOD – Camden County College will hold its spring dance concert at 8 p.m. April 13 and 14 at the Dennis Flyer Memorial Theatre on the Blackwood campus. This will be the second year the spring dance concert will be presented.

The dance organization of Camden County College is organizing the concert. The organization consists mainly of students who are attending the school and are in the dance degree programs.

The school has several different programs that can give students several choices in what type of dance they want to learn. The school offers instruction in classical, ballet, modern, jazz and many other types of dance. The program also offers career opportunities such as choreographer, dance therapist, director of dance companies, performer and teacher. The school also offers some of the dance courses as non-credit courses. The students will still have to pay to attend the course, but if they decide they do not like the course or do not do well in it, they will not hurt their grade point average.

A request seeking information from the theater office about which groups will perform and what they will perform was not returned.

Tickets for the spring dance concert are free and advance registration is not needed. For more information about the event, visit http://www.camdencc.edu.
