By: Imani Brown Influence of Mass Media In the beginning of this year, President Obama announced his tuition free proposal in Tennessee for college students that will “lower the cost of community college- to zero.” (Obama). The plan is to provide tuition-free classes for students attending community colleges, while going to school at least half time and maintaining a GPA 2.5 or higher.
