Allen has been teaching at a college level for the past 19 years. He has taught at Rutgers University and at Camden County College. Allen also is a managing associate at his firm Allen and Associates.

From a young age Allen developed a passion for the business field. That passion has motivated him to be the best he can in his field. Whether working for Fortune 500 companies or for individuals who need help with their taxes Allen always provides the best financial advice.

Allen received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fla. Following that he went to Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., to receive his master of business administration degree in finance and accounting. After receiving his MBA Allen felt it was necessary to get his doctorate.

“I felt that receiving my Ph.D. would complete all the necessary steps needed to prove my worth and merit in the field,” said Allen.

Before he received his Ph.D. Allen held jobs with some prestigious companies. He was the CFO and controller at Coca Cola in San Francisco.

“I loved San Francisco, they taught me a lot over there but I really was getting home sick and I needed to be back home and close to my family,” Allen said.

This is the reason Allen moved from San Francisco to New Jersey. While in South Jersey he received his Ph.D. from Temple University to fulfill his goal.
