Omega Ellis is a 29 year old single mother. She was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey. She graduated from Camden High School in 2004. She currently lives in Pennsauken with her mother and twin sister. She began her job at a local supermarket called Costa’s her 11th grade year in high school. Costa’s a privately owned supermarket which has been passed from generation to generation. Omega has been working at Costa’s for 11 years. Omega is a very big help at Costa’s she comes in on her day and off to work when they are short of help and she also have to step up to the plate when someone does not show up for work.
Omega was your average 17 year old girl when she applied for this job at Costa’s. She or nobody would have never known she would become the store/deli manager at Costa’s. As I was interviewing her she would often say she loves her job but she hates it at the same time. When Omega first started at her job she was the outcast everyone knew each other and she didn’t know anyone. She said it was tough at first but as time went on she got the hang of things and it started to get less tough. Before this job Omega gad a job at the age of 16th at a family owned restaurant called Corinne’s Place, which is located in Camden, New Jersey. She has been on and off from Corinne’s Place since she was 16 and she now currently works there on the weekends. Omega son comes to visit her on the weekends because he stays with his father during the week to attend school. Omega is a hard working women who only gets one day off out of the week, she told me these or the things she have to do so she can make ends meet.
