BLACKWOOD – Camden County College will celebrate the spring with a trip to France and Belgium.

Assistant Professor of Business Lawrence J. Danks is familiar with the trip’s destinations and has reviewed the complete itinerary for the trip. “I highly recommend it because Professor Howard is coordinating it. I have been to all the places it is going. It is a terrific opportunity for anyone who goes,” Danks said.

The trip will start in Belgium. Those on the trip will experience Brussels and Bruges. Bruges is a canal-based town, so those on the trip will get a taste of the canals that Bruges is known for. Those on the trip will then travel to the capital of France, Paris. From Paris, they will take a train ride to the city of Avignon, France. According to the trip coordinators, this train ride will be a great experience. Avignon is a UNESCO’s World Heritage site. This means that Avignon is listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for its cultural and historical significance.

Participants will then travel to Pont du Gard, Nimes. Following this, Ax-En-Provence, France will be the next stop on the itinerary. For the final stop, they will travel to Nice and Eze, France.

Alex Bradley, Camden County College student, is contemplating if she will go on the trip. “I would love to go on this trip. It would be such a great experience because I have never traveled to any part of Europe before. From what I have seen in pictures, both France and Belgium are extremely beautiful,” Bradley said.

“I am still trying to figure out if I am able to attend the trip; however, I have made a list of what I would need if I can go. I am looking around for travel-sized items and cute outfits to wear,” Bradley said.

The trip is open to students, as well as their friends and family. For more information about the trip, contact Howard at mhoward@camdencc.edu or 856-227-7200, ext. 4744.
