BLACKWOOD – Camden County College students have many ways to get the textbooks required for class. Some students choose to rent or buy books from the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Camden County College, which is the most expensive option, while others prefer to find books online at a lower cost.

Some books can be found online for as much as $100 cheaper than what they cost at the CCC bookstore. A few of the best websites to order books from are Chegg.com, BookRenter.com and Textbooks.com. Each of these websites has different advantages and can offer different prices for different books.

On some websites, such as Amazon.com, students can rent e-books, which they can access on their smart phone, tablet or computer. Some students find this to be the most convenient way because they do not need to carry a heavy textbook to class. All they need for class is their electronic device.

Even with all of these options, some students still choose to buy books at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at CCC for full price. “I buy my books at the school’s bookstore because my financial aid covers the cost; otherwise, I would buy or rent my books online,” said Tyler Geibel, a Camden County College student.
