BLACKWOOD – Students seeking to move on to a four-year college or university got a chance to learn about 40 schools at Camden County College’s annual transfer fair on Nov. 15 on the Blackwood campus.

Representatives of institutions such as Temple University, Montclair State, Rutgers-Camden and Penn State gathered in the Connector Building Atrium to answer students’ questions. They included inquiries about applications, financial aid, majors, minors, scholarships, campus housing and transfer requirements. Some of the schools offered an “instant decision day” to allow students to apply on the spot with benefits such as having the application fee waived and getting one step ahead in the application process in the hope of getting into the college of their choosing.
Jeffrey Poulos, who represented Montclair State at the transfer fair for the first time, said the university has had a representative at the fair every year to meet with potential transfer students.
“I always enjoy coming out and representing Montclair,” Poulos said. “It was a pleasure speaking with the potential transfer students from the Camden area.”
