Dr. Damiano Consilvio is the newest addition to the English Department of Camden County College.
Consilvio, a South Jersey/Philadelphia native, started as a community college student and worked his way up to receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rutgers University in Camden and a doctoral degree from the University of Rhode Island, according to an announcement from the college.
Beginning as a community college student, he said he understands how community college benefits students as an accessible and affordable way to start their college education.
