The president of Camden County College, Dr. Lovell Pugh-Bassett, along with Board of Trustees member Jessica Purnell and two students, Jhenipher Morel and Alejandro Ramos, visited Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. this month.
They attended the Association of Community College Trustees National Leadership Summit, which is an advocacy event that provides leaders from community colleges the opportunity to communicate with the members of the U.S. Congress and administration officials about issues affecting community colleges.
