The wild goose chase to prepare for college at Camden County College has come to an end.

A $10 million expansion of Taft hall just made things easier for every student according to multiple students around campus.

The journey at CCC starts and ends in the new Taft hall services building. The building includes financial aid, registration, enrollment, the advisement center, and all guidance offices.

Taft Hall is located in the middle of campus alongside of the library, science building, and Madison hall. This makes it a direct location to get to.

The first thing students encounter as they enter Taft Hall is the information desk. As Eric from Public Safety said, “I direct students where to go when they enter the building.”

The first set of stairs leads to the enrollment department. There are multiple stations that are manned by school staff.

“The departments are all linked together to provide outstanding service to get students on the right path,” said Jocelyn who works in enrollment services. She describes enrollment services as the front line for students to register and pay for classes.

At the financial aid department, a sign in sheet and some help from the staff is the only thing between students and the money they need to pay for their education.

Next to financial aid is academic advisement.

Advisement helps schedule classes and help set goals to succeed in college. They also walk students through Webadvisor and Camdencc.edu.

Computers are available to students within.

A once dreaded walk from building to building for different needs to start a student’s semester is no longer a thing.

Multiple students agree that the student services building boosted the college’s efficiency by combining several buildings into one.
